Making bean bags

Mini Home Made Bean BagsKnow one of these? I made it my self and of course with some help from my mum. I took 5 piece of recycled cloths and sew it into a pocket, fill it in with beans, seal it and I have my mini bean bags :) .

Home Made Bead BagsCutting is a mini challange, unlike cutting paper, cloths tends to get stretched while u are cutting, this cause curvy cutting which gives me some headache. Sewing a pocket is just an easy job by using the sewing machine, any kids can do it.

The difficult part is the sealing of final edge, my mum told me to sew it from the inside! what the heck? how to seal it from the inside?

Pillow Bad SealAnyway this is my first bean bag, it looks ugly, the sealing are jagged and inconsistent, there is also a leak after i finished :p

Good Sew Seal Bean Bags

And this is the best of wat i can came out with :p Don’t ya thinkg its nice and neat?

I’m just back from singapore, having one of the greatest experience of all. Because of time constraint and some urgencies, I took KTM train instate of flight nor bus, availability is better, and cheaper. For the night time journey, I took the  lower berth unit that allows me to enjoy the with a good night sleep.

The ticket cost me RM 43, slightly more than the bus ticket fare and tooks a little more longer, well eventually i got my self a good place to spent a night. Even better, i got a moving toilet that is always available, moving cafeteria that always have hot drinks, and this train brings me straight into the middle of Singapore City at sunrise next morning!

Just look at thier building and sculpture, the shape alone is so nice! Did you know that the buildings in singapore are required to repaint once every two years?

There is alot of subway and thunnel below the city, usually it served as underground walkway or transportation. But when comes to national emergencies, these thunnel can be a shelter for singapore citizen, just look at how thick is this metal door!

Flight Simulator Startup!

I like visiting every corner of the earth, and always Google Earth on many places. Everytime i switch to the G-Force (Ctrl+G) mode, this enable to browse with aircraft navigation. It is so much fun flying under the valley of the grand canyon!!!

The truth is, it looks fun flying Google Earth, but in reality, it is fustrating to find direction in mid-air. Not long ago i discover the VOR System (a small chapter from Geo Hack Thru History video), a system that allow airplanes to find thier ways.

Now that i know how to navigate in air, I’m ready to fly a plane. I look around on my old software shelf and got my self Microsoft Flight Simulator, lets give it a try! Starts off with a thick manual, (thicker than windows XP user guide), it includes the basic ground school material and some aeronautical charts and some aircraft specification.

I followed the flying lessons provided by Ms Flight Simulator, understanding to control the aircraft, reading the instrument, take off, landing, pattern, turns, and some air traffic control.

keyboard and mouse are rather difficult perform tremendous task, so I got my self a cheap o joystick, full of joy! for RM 59 bucks!

As real as it gets! Sepang and Air asia is being so detailed!

Gua Tempurung Expedition

A day trip to gua tempurung, exciting and fun experience I have there. It is an expedition inside the cave thru water channel, dark thunnel, steep cliff, large chamber, long stairs and more.

Gua Tempurung Thumbnail A group photo infront of a stone that has nothing to do with gua tempurung!
Gua Tempurung 2 Because of the rainy morning, water level within the cave may reach unsafe level, so we will start the journey from the wet cave.
Gua Tempurung Super Rescue It is dark inside, total darkness, this is the only shot that i could able to recover.
Gua Tempurung 3 Inside the cave, it was dark and wet.
Gua Tempurung 4 Don’t be suprised that you are required to crawl thru this tight opennings, thats the only way thru the cave.
Gua Tempurung 5 This is the other end of the cave, you can see the north south highway bridge from here, last time it used to be an entrance from the highway, but after the highway clift collapse, the northbound of the R&R were closed.
Gua Tempurung 7 After the wet journey, we will resume the dry course inside the thunnel, lots of steps along the way!
Gua Tempurung 6 This looks like a pregnant lady just floating above us.

It is not easy to bring a camera into the cave because the water level exceed your head level as you crawl thru. It took me 15 plastic bags wrapped one after another to keep my phone, camera, and car remote control dry.

Nice experience, we took the full package tour, 3 hours for RM 22 each.

Putrajaya Night Shot

Over thousands of shots, this is one of the most attracting shot I ever captured.

Putrajaya Night Large

After owning Fuji Finepix E550 (RM 1999) a consumer grade camera for a year plus, it’s time for me to discover the true limitation of it. Pay attention to the edges of the photo, you will soon notice some blue colour seems to be leaked out from the white lamp. Time to move on to EOS series pretty soon from now!
